What is a Take-Off Cadet (Trainee Second Officer Candidate)?

This program provides recent graduates or those about to graduate with a bachelor's degree the opportunity to make a robust start in their careers with Turkish Airlines. It is designed to cultivate the successful pilots of the future in the rapidly expanding aviation industry, which has a growing demand for skilled pilots globally.

Candidates who successfully complete the evaluation processes of the Take-Off Cadet Program will be included to the Second Officer Trainee Program. This program includes 15 to 18 months of comprehensive theoretical and practical training. Upon successful completion of this training, candidates will participate in a 3 to 6-month type rating course at flight training academies, either within Turkish Airlines or at partner institutions both domestically and internationally.
