Applications for the Ministry of Development 2018 Winter Program (February) are now open.

Applications for the Ministry of Development's 2018 Winter Program (February), organized to introduce its duties and functions and provide information about its activities, will be accepted from November 1 to November 30, 2017. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

Application Method and Requirements

A maximum of 100 participants will be accepted for the Promotion Program each term, ranked according to their GPA (starting from the highest).

Applicants must meet the following criteria: They should be 3rd or 4th-year students at a four-year higher education institution in a department preferred for Planning Assistant recruitment at the Ministry of Development, or be graduates from such a department, or be master's students. The cumulative GPA must be at least 3.0 out of 4.0 or 75 out of 100. If the quota is not filled, applications from candidates with a GPA below 3.0 or those who are 2nd-year students may also be considered.

Application Process

Applications for the Ministry of Development Promotion Program can be submitted online through the official website (www.kalkinma.gov.tr).

For those applying in person or by mail, a completed Application Form (available on the Ministry’s website) must be submitted along with an official transcript or a certified copy. This can be delivered in person to the Ministry's document unit (ground floor) or sent by mail to the following address: Kalkınma Bakanlığı / Evrak Kayıt Birimi, Zemin Kat, Necatibey Cad. 110/A, Yücetepe, ANKARA. 

(Only one application method should be chosen.)

Those accepted into the program will be announced on the Ministry of Development's website.

Applicants who are accepted but do not attend the Promotion Program cannot apply a second time.

Individuals found to have made false statements in the application form or other documents will be disqualified from participating in the program. Additionally, this situation will be reported to their universities in writing. Records related to these individuals will be maintained in the Ministry's archive, and if they apply for a job at the Ministry in the future, these records will be considered in the evaluation of their applications. Legal action will be taken against any actions that constitute a criminal offense.

Program Periods and Application Dates

Program Periods - (Application Start - End)         
Summer Period - April 19 – May 19                  
Winter Period   - November 1 – November 30      

The Summer Term begins on the first Monday of July, while the Winter Term starts on the first Monday of February.

The Promotion Program consists of two terms and is conducted as three days each term, from 13:45 to 17:30, starting on Mondays.

Participants who complete the program will receive a "Certificate of Participation" from the General Directorate of Management Services. Continuous attendance is essential to qualify for this certificate; failure to attend more than one day will result in the certificate not being issued.

Obligations

Participants in the Ministry of Development's Promotion Program must comply with the duties and obligations outlined in the Civil Servants Law No. 657. Failure to do so will result in the termination of the student's participation, and this will be reported to their university.
