The World Halal Summit (WHS), which brings together international academics, experts, and researchers to track developments in the global halal sector and evaluate important issues, will be held this year with the theme "New Norms of the New Era: The Imperatives of Halal Production and Consumption." It will take place simultaneously with the 8th Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) Halal Expo, organized in collaboration with the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) and the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT), from November 25-27, 2021, at the Istanbul Congress Center.
The World Halal Summit, as in previous years, will not only feature scientific presentations and seminars but will also bring together key representatives, leading institutions, and organizations in the sector. The summit will evaluate the challenges and opportunities in the halal industry and include inspiring speeches. It will offer a comprehensive program with interactive panel sessions.
During the three-day summit, speakers will share the outcomes of their work and the latest innovations in the global halal industry, providing strategic insights into halal research and addressing various topics related to halal. Additionally, the 8th Islamic Cooperation Organization Halal Expo and startup events will take place concurrently at the same venue over four days.
