Ministry of Development 2018 Summer Period Promotion Program Applications Are Now Open

Applications for the Ministry of Development’s 2018 Summer Period Promotion Program, organized to introduce the duties and functions of the Ministry and to provide information about the ongoing projects, will be accepted from April 19 to May 19, 2018. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

Application Method and Requirements

A maximum of 100 participants will be accepted for each session of the Promotion Program, and selections will be made based on GPA, starting from the highest.

To participate in the Promotion Program at the Ministry of Development, applicants must be third or fourth-year students from departments preferred for the Planning Assistant recruitment at the Ministry, or be graduates of a four-year higher education institution in the same fields, or be graduate students. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or 75 out of 100 is required. If the quota is not filled, candidates with a GPA below 3.0 or second-year students may also be considered.

Application Procedure

You can apply online for the Ministry of Development Promotion Program at  https://www.kalkinma.gov.tr. For those applying in person or by mail, the completed Application Form obtained from the Ministry's website must be submitted along with the original or a certified copy of the transcript, either in person to the Ministry's Document Unit (ground floor) or sent by mail to the following address: (Ministry of Development / Document Registration Unit Ground Floor Necatibey Cad. 110/A Yücetepe ANKARA). (Only one application method should be chosen.)

Those whose applications are accepted will be announced on the Ministry of Development’s website.

Individuals who are accepted into the Promotion Program but do not start will not be allowed to apply a second time.

Those found to have made false statements in the application form or other documents will be disqualified from the Program. Additionally, their universities will be notified of this situation in writing. Records regarding these individuals will be kept in the Ministry's archives, and their applications for employment with the Ministry will be assessed considering these records. Criminal proceedings will be initiated against those whose actions constitute a crime.

Program Periods and Application Dates

Program Periods - (Application Start - End)         
Summer Period - April 19 – May 19                  
Winter Period   - November 1 – November 30           

The Summer Period starts on the first Monday of July, and the Winter Period starts on the first Monday of February.

The Promotion Program consists of a total of two periods, conducted three days a week from 13:45  to 17:30, starting on Monday.

Participants who complete the Promotion Program will receive a “Participation Certificate” issued by the General Directorate of Management Services. Continuous attendance in the Program is essential to be eligible for this certificate. If a participant attends less than a full day, they will not receive a certificate.

Obligations

Participants in the Promotion Program at the Ministry of Development are required to comply with the duties and obligations specified in the State Civil Servants Law No. 657. Otherwise, the student's participation in the program will be terminated, and this will be reported to their university.
