Gazi University's Institute of Health Sciences bid farewell to its students who successfully completed their graduate studies for the first time with a ceremony.

The ceremony, organized in collaboration with our center and held in the Faculty of Pharmacy Conference Hall, was attended by Institute Director Prof. Dr. Adviye Gülçin Sağdıçoğlu Celep, as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Prof. Dr. Sultan Ayaz Alkaya, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Bülent Elbasan, our university's Career Planning Research and Application Center (KAPUM) Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Türker, Sedat Ildız, who is acting as Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's General Directorate of Food and Control, Gazi TEKNOPARK Deputy General Manager Furkan Özcan, faculty members, students, and parents.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, followed by a concert performed by Prof. Dr. Ömer Türkmenoğlu, a faculty member of the Gazi Faculty of Education. After the concert, the speeches started.

Prof. Dr. Adviye Gülçin Sağdıçoğlu Celep, highlighting the importance of the field of health sciences, stated that they have graduated students equipped with the necessary skills in their areas of expertise. Dr. Adviye Gülçin who emphasized the significant support and contributions of the alumni in all the institute's activities said “Dear graduates, you are the source of pride for Gazi University’s Institute of Health Sciences. I wish you continued success in future. In future, I wish you the best in every field. Remember that you are representatives of Gazi University. We wholeheartedly believe that you will represent this institution in the best way wherever you go and continue to sustain its spirit.”

Prof. Dr. Adviye Gülçin Sağdıçoğlu Celep extended her thanks to all the university administration, especially to our Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız, as well as to the graduates and their families, for their contributions and support.

Prof. Dr. Sağdıçoğlu Celep also provided information about the work which has been done over the years related to the Institute of Health Sciences.

Following the speech by Institute Director Prof. Dr. Adviye Gülçin Sağdıçoğlu Celep, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Türker and Furkan Özcan also gave speeches. The ceremony continued with speeches on behalf of the prospective graduates and alumni, the presentation of awards for contributions to societal impact and thesis plaques, and the distribution of graduation cards.
