Many academics, businesspeople, politicians, and educators gathered at the Ministry of National Education's International Forum on Artificial Intelligence Applications in Education on May 25–26, 2024, to assess the methods of using AI in education and identify national-level of events. Gazi University Career Planning Application and Research Center Deputy Director Assoc. Dr. Serkan Düzgün also attended the forum.

The event began with the speech by Chairman of the Board of Teknopark Istanbul Prof. Dr. Metin Yerebakan. After that, YEĞİTEK General Manager Mustafa Canlı, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Zekeriya Çoştu, and Minister of National Education Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tekin made their speeches. Minister Tekin stated that they gave importance integrating digital literacy and artificial intelligence in their curriculum.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serkan Düzgün shared his ideas about artificial intelligence technologies’s potentials and risks in the education at the ‘’Using of Artificial Intelligence in Virtual and Augmented Reality’’ themed workshop session on the second day of the forum.
