“From Gazi to the National Team” talk, organised in collaboration between Gazi University Career Planning Application and Research Centre and the Exercise and Movement Club took place with high participation from students. During the event which featured successful names in sports; their career journeys that extend to the national team, athletic development and professional experiences were discussed.

Prof Ceren Süveren moderated the sessions, with the attendance of the goalkeeper coach of the national team Ozan Özerkan and Head Coach of the National Futsal Team for the Deaf Assoc. Prof Sümer Alvurdu. Speakers shared important insight about discipline in sports, improvement process and their experiences in the national team.

One of the aspects of the event that drew the most attention was the fact that former Gazi University students were now representing our country successfully with the national team. Success stories from the same campus turned into an inspirational meeting for the students.

At the end of the event, speakers were thanked for their contribution, and it was noted that similar events that would contribute to the students’ career development would continue to be held.
