The Data Science Career Day Event, organised in collaboration with Gazi University Career Planning Application and Research Centre and Data Science Community on Thursday, 13 March 2025, at the Technology Faculty A Block Conference Hall, was held to contribute to students career planning and share current developments in the field of data science.

The event, which featured four distinguished speakers, provided participants with comprehensive information on data science, career management and coding.

In the first session of the event, Erhan Barış Erge, founder of ER-GE Technology, and Barış Okan Belovacıklı, founder of BOB GYM, shared their experiences in the sector and provided students with important information about career development and innovations in the field of data science. He gave a guiding presentation to participants who want to advance in the industry, using examples from his own career journey. In the second session, TÜBİTAK researcher Samet Kaya provided information on topics such as CV preparation processes and job and internship opportunities in the field of data science, while Muhammed Cihat Ünal gave students detailed information on current developments in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and data science.

The event, attended by approximately 150 participants, was completed in an interactive and productive manner. The programme ended with the presentation of certificates of appreciation and a photo session.
