Nursing Career Day Event Held

Our University's Faculty of Nursing, Career Planning Application and Research Centre (KAPUM) and Career Community collaborated to organise a Career Day event for nursing students. The event was held in the Rectorate's Mimar Kemaleddin Hall and featured KAPUM, hospital and institutional promotional stands.

The event was attended by our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Serhat Karyeyen, Prof. Dr. Hasan Tezer, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Prof. Dr. Sultan Ayaz Alkaya, Director of KAPUM Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Günaydın, faculty members and students.

In his opening speech, our KAPUM Director, Associate Professor Yusuf Günaydın, stated that they organise a wide variety of activities to help students guide their careers in the right direction, and that our centre will always support our students and graduates in their career planning processes. Then, our Deputy Director, Assoc. Prof. Abdullah Türker, gave a detailed presentation on all the events and activities carried out within the scope of the Career Planning and Implementation Research Centre.

The Dean of our University's Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Sultan Ayaz Alkaya, said in his speech that this was the third such event to be held. Prof. Dr. Sultan Ayaz Alkaya stated that students begin their career journey by choosing our university and the Faculty of Nursing, and emphasised the importance of starting the career planning process during their student years. Dean Prof. Dr. Sultan Ayaz Alkaya said that the Faculty always stands by its students.

Our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Serhat Karyeyen stated that the participating students were students of a long-established faculty of our University. Prof. Dr. Serhat Karyeyen stated that all students in the hall received an education that meets the requirements of their professional lives, and expressed his hope that after graduation, students would engage in scientific activities, participate in research and development activities, follow current events, and maintain their ties with their faculties.

After the opening speeches, the event continued with hospital presentations.
