“The Take-Off Cadet (Trainee Second Pilot Candidate) Programme” promotional event, organised in collaboration with the Career Planning Application and Research Centre (KAPUM) and Turkish Airlines Inc. , with contributions from Gazi University's Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Architecture and support from the MAK-TOP student community, was successfully completed.
As part of the event, Turkish Airlines Human Resources team gave a comprehensive and informative presentation on the recruitment process and professional career development of pilot candidates. The event also featured Aykut Dulkadiroğlu, a 2018 graduate of Gazi University's Industrial Engineering Department and a Turkish Airlines pilot, as a speaker. Dulkadiroğlu shared his professional experiences, career journey, and the requirements of the piloting profession with the participants, providing students with information about the process. During the question-and-answer session of the event, participants asked the speakers questions about the pilot profession, training and recruitment processes, and obtained detailed information.
The event concluded with our centre presenting our graduate with a Graduate Card and Turkish Airlines distributing commemorative key rings to the students.
