National Cyber Security and Blockchain Summit Held

The Faculty of Technology, Department of Computer Engineering, and the Cyber Security Research and Development Community, in collaboration with the Career Planning Application and Research Centre (KAPUM), organised the ‘National Cyber Security and Blockchain Summit’ between 19 and 21 April 2025.

The event featured sessions and workshops focusing on current and important topics such as cyber security, entrepreneurship, threat intelligence and blockchain technologies. These events aimed to increase participants' knowledge of the sector and raise awareness.

The summit began with certified training courses held at the Dursun Önkuzu Building of Gazi University's Faculty of Technology on 19–20 April 2025. It continued on 21 April 2025 with the National Cyber Security and Blockchain Conference.

The conference was opened by Prof. Dr. Selami CANDAN, Coordinator of Social Affairs and Social Contribution at Gazi University, Dean of the Faculty of Technology Prof. Dr. Musa ATAR, Director of the Career Planning Application and Research Centre Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yusuf GÜNAYDIN, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering Prof. Dr. Ayhan ERDEM, and Deputy Head of the Department Prof. Dr. İbrahim Alper DOĞRU.

The event concluded with presentations by industry representatives and keen interest from participants.
