A team from the Gazi University Career Planning Application and Research Center visited the Gazi
University Faculty of Applied Sciences on Friday, March 31. The visit was attended by the Dean of
the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Barış Kınacı; the Associate Dean, Dr. İsa Hatipoğlu; the Faculty Secretary,
Mürüvet Kunak; and Career Representatives, Research Assistant Berk Serbest and Research
Assistant Ali Yavuz. From our Center, Deputy Director Lecturer Dr. Yusuf Ziya Aktaş and our
academicians Lecturer Dr. Aylin Karakuş and Lecturer Dr. Gamze Aslan were attendant.
In the meeting organized as part of the visit, potential collaborative initiatives to support the career
development of faculty students were evaluated. In addition, evaluations were made regarding
coordination and collaboration processes between our unit and the Faculty of Applied Sciences. It
was also decided that the Gazi University Career Planning Application and Research Center would
provide training for students on effective communication, interview techniques, and effective
resume preparation. Discussions also focused on planning new activities to strengthen this
collaboration and support students’ transition into the workforce. We would like to thank to Dean,
