The event titled "Key to Career: KPSS – DGS," organized by the Gazi University Career Planning Application and Research Center (KAPUM), was held on November 26, 2025, with the participation of students from the Elderly Care Program of the Vocational School of Health Services. Ali İhsan Atalay, Hasan Söğüt, and Ferhat Kayacan attended the event as guest speakers. Comprehensive insights were shared regarding the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS) process—a significant turning point in students' career planning—along with exam preparation strategies, choosing the right study materials, time management, and methods for maintaining motivation. The program also covered the content of the KPSS, the operational procedures of public sector recruitment, and the academic and professional advantages that completing a bachelor's degree via the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) provides to students. Emphasizing the importance of a clear understanding of the exam processes, the speakers answered the students' questions in detail and shared their experiences.
Following the presentation, students and instructors gathered to take commemorative photos. The event concluded with a Q&A session held in a warm and interactive atmosphere. KAPUM stated that events contributing to students' career development will continue.
We would like to extend our gratitude to our Department Head Prof. Dr. Meltem Uzunhisarcıklı for hosting the event, as well as to our instructors Ali İhsan Atalay, Hasan Söğüt, and Ferhat Kayacan.
