An online meeting was held between the Gazi University Career Planning Application and Research Center (KAPUM) and the Defence Industry Academy (Savunma Sanayii Akademi). During the meeting, planned initiatives aimed at strengthening university–industry collaboration within the framework of Gazi University's 100th-anniversary events were discussed.
In line with the activities conducted by the Defence Industry Academy across university campuses, potential programs to be implemented on the Gazi University campus were evaluated. In this context, main topics such as campus programs, student training sessions, career and competency meetups, and practical activities were addressed. Emphasis was placed on potential collaboration models designed to help students closely familiarize themselves with the defence industry ecosystem, gain awareness of career opportunities, and support their competency-based development.
Furthermore, ideas were exchanged regarding the organization of these events in a manner worthy of Gazi University's 100th anniversary, increasing student participation, and establishing a sustainable university–industry collaboration structure. The activities planned under the coordination of KAPUM aim to contribute to students' career planning processes and enable them to connect with the latest developments in the defence industry.
The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to goodwill and collaboration, establishing the framework for joint efforts planned for the upcoming period and reinforcing ties through concrete steps.
