The 2024–2025 Academic Year graduates of our university's Institute of Health Sciences were sent off with a graduation ceremony. Held at the Faculty of Pharmacy Conference Hall in collaboration with the Career Planning Application and Research Center (KAPUM), the ceremony was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Tezer, Secretary General Mustafa Afşar, Director of the Institute of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Saniye Bilici, KAPUM Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Günaydın, deans, academics, students, and their families.

The ceremony commenced with a moment of silence and the singing of the Turkish National Anthem, followed by a musical performance, and continued with opening remarks. In her speech, Director of the Institute of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Saniye Bilici provided information on the institute's academic structure and educational activities. Stating that the institute, founded in 1982, comprises 45 departments, Prof. Dr. Bilici noted that education is ongoing across 36 doctoral and 46 master's programs. Expressing that they have produced 4,800 graduates to date, Prof. Dr. Bilici wished the graduates success in their professional lives.

Following the speech by Prof. Dr. Saniye Bilici, our Rector Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal addressed the graduates. Describing our university as a "deep-rooted plane tree," Prof. Dr. Ünal emphasized that the university produces qualified graduates in many fields ranging from education and culture to art, sports, and health. He expressed great pride in our graduates serving in various sectors all across Turkey.

Reminding the audience that our university will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year, Prof. Dr. Ünal highlighted the importance of academic staff contributing to the centenary events. He stressed that in addition to its healthcare services, our university continues to add value to society through its educational endeavors.

Describing master's and doctoral studies as "a labor of love," Prof. Dr. Ünal congratulated the graduates, their families, and the faculty members for their hard work throughout this process, extending his best wishes for the graduates' future endeavors.

Following the speeches, our Rector Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal presented awards to the authors of the most successful theses in the field of social contribution. As part of the ceremony organized in collaboration with KAPUM, "Alumni Cards" were also presented to our graduates by Rector Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal.
