The event titled "Sustainable Designs in Architecture and Solar Energy" was organized on December 18, 2025, in collaboration with the Gazi University Career Planning Application and Research Center and the Faculty of Technology Department of Woodwork Industrial Engineering.

The opening speeches of the event were delivered by Prof. Dr. Musa Atar, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, and Lecturer Dr. Yusuf Ziya Aktaş, Vice Director of the Career Planning Application and Research Center. During the opening, emphasis was placed on sustainability, the importance of renewable energy sources, and the relationship of these fields with the disciplines of architecture and engineering.

Within the scope of the program, representatives from Özbek Architecture and AN Architecture delivered presentations on sustainable design approaches in architecture and the building-scale application of solar energy. Participants were informed about current implementations and sample projects.

The event concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the speakers. The certificates of appreciation were presented by Prof. Dr. Hamza Çınar, Head of the Department of Woodwork Industrial Engineering, and Research Assistant Dr. Ramazan Bülbül.
