Science and Career Event with TÜBİTAK Participation Held

The "TÜBİTAK on Campus" event, organized in collaboration with the Gazi University Career

Planning Application and Research Center and under the coordination of the Turkic World Youth Community, brought together students aiming for careers in science and technology with expert executives from TÜBİTAK.

Hosted by Gazi University, the event addressed a wide range of topics, including scholarship, internship, and grant programs provided by TÜBİTAK, R&D-focused career opportunities, recruitment processes, and interview techniques. Participating students had the opportunity to ask officials directly about career paths in scientific research and technology development.

The program featured Dr. Metin Demirsoy, Vice President of TÜBİTAK BİDEB and Deputy

Chairman of the Turkic World Youth Foundation; Hüseyin Fatih Yaz, TÜBİTAK Human Resources

Planning Manager; and Furkan Ünsal and Emine Kuzören, TÜBİTAK Senior Human Resources Specialists, as guest speakers. The speakers shared their insights and experiences regarding the support mechanisms and human resources policies implemented within TÜBİTAK.

Conducted with high participation, the event enabled students to shape their career goals in a more conscious and planned manner, while once again demonstrating Gazi University's commitment to the science, technology, and R&D ecosystem. The event also drew attention for encouraging youth to take a more active role in scientific production processes within the scope of university–public sector collaboration.

Organized in line with the vision of science- and technology-based development, the meeting was successfully completed in harmony with the goal of building the future of the Turkic World through qualified human resources.
