The event titled "English Language Teaching Graduates Meet" was organized by the Gazi University Career Planning Application and Research Center (KAPUM) on January 31 at the 75th Anniversary Conference Hall. The highly attended event commenced with the opening speech delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Günaydın, Director of the Gazi University Career Center. In his speech, Günaydın emphasized the importance of maintaining sustainable communication with alumni for the institutional development of universities. Taking the floor next, Dr. Yusuf Ziya Aktaş, Vice Director of the Career Center, stated that alumni–university relations carry strategic value for Gazi University, noting that alumni meetups organized within the scope of the university's 100th anniversary hold special significance. Faculty members of the Department of English Language Teaching, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burçak Yılmaz Yakışık, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Müzeyyen Nazlı Güngör, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Büşra Çelen expressed their pleasure in coming together with the English Language Teaching graduates in their respective speeches.

The event continued with an alumni panel moderated by Emre Seçgin. Panelists including Selman Serin, a 2014 graduate currently working at TikTok's Dublin/Ireland office; Dr. Kübra Yenel, a 2010 graduate working as an Assistant Professor at Manisa Celal Bayar University; Cüneyt Ceylan, a 2002 graduate and founder of Bumerang Design; and Fatih Mehmet Araz, a senior student in the Department of English Language Teaching, shared their memories of their student years at Gazi University, the academic and professional achievements gained through the university, their career planning processes, and their career journeys with the audience.

Following the fruitful panel, alumni shared their thoughts and feelings, stating that being a graduate of the Gazi Faculty of Education has always made them feel privileged in their professional lives. After the alumni shares—which witnessed emotional and cheerful moments"Alumni Cards" were presented to the graduates by the faculty members.
