On February 9, 2026, at 13:30, a departmental meeting was held at the Career Planning Application and Research Center under the chairmanship of Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Günaydın. All academic staff members working at our center attended the meeting.
Our Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Günaydın made a general evaluation of the activities conducted in 2025, sharing comprehensive information regarding the events held, collaborations, and student feedback. Attention was particularly drawn to the increasing participation rates in seminars, panels, workshops, and institutional visits that contributed to students' career development processes. Furthermore, it was emphasized that strengthening internal coordination directly impacts the quality of the activities carried out.
The main agenda item of the meeting was setting goals for the year 2026. In this context, topics discussed included making career counseling services for students and alumni more systematic and accessible, increasing sector–university collaborations, diversifying events to be held with the participation of public and private sector representatives, and utilizing digital platforms more effectively. Additionally, plans were made for programs to be carried out in coordination with faculties and departments.
The meeting proceeded with the sharing of mutual views and suggestions, and the roadmap for the new term was clarified through the contributions of the academic staff. The meeting concluded with the wish that 2026 will be a year in which stronger contributions are made to the career development of our students and alumni, stakeholder collaborations are enhanced, and institutional capacity is further reinforced.
